You can get a booking form and information sheet by telephoning Polly on either telephone number or by email. You will be asked what your craft is, where you heard about us and your name and address.
Alternatively you can go to the 2008 booking form using the navigation bar and submitting the online booking form.
Venue
Fakenham Parish Church, Oak Street, Fakenham, Norfolk. NR21 9DY
Prices
The price of the tables (which are provided) is £10 per table approx. 6ft x 2ft, if you require two tables, the price will be £20. The price remains the same if you bring your own tables. Prices will be increased for 2008.
Payment
You will be invoiced for each market one month in advance. Prompt payment would be appreciated. If payment is not received by the date indicated on the invoice (and we do not hear to the contrary) it will be assumed you do not require the tables and they will be re-let.
Cancellations
Refunds will only be given if the cancellation is made 10 days prior to the market date, this gives us sufficient time to re-let your space. We appreciate circumstances change throughout the year and if you need to change a date, providing there are still spaces available for the new date, there will be no problem providing you give us sufficient notice to re-let your existing space.
Setting Up and Parking
Tony and I will be at the Church at 8am to set up the tables. We would appreciate it if you do not arrive before 8.45am to give us sufficient time to get things ready. Trading time is 10am to 3pm. The parking spaces outside the Church are leased to people who work in the town and are not available for us to park in. Please use the pedestrian area in front of Aldiss to unload and load and then move your car to alternative parking.
Packing Up
It would be appreciated if you do not pack up until 3pm as it is advertised that the Craft Market is open 10am to 3pm. We appreciate that on quiet days it seems pointless to stay, but it is unfair to the public if they expect to see a variety of stalls in the afternoon and half of them have gone, (it looks bad on the Market itself as it deters people coming to future Markets). It is also unfair to the rest of the Stall Holders because the public see that half of the stalls have gone and do not bother to look around. Anybody packing up before 3pm will not be asked back. When you book your stall, you make a comittment to stay for the day. It would also be appreciated that you leave your area as you find it, free of rubbish and crumbs.
Pew Top Space
A pew top space is basically a board 2ft wide and spans across two pews to make a table approximately 6ft long. It is a bit higher than a normal table as it rests on the backs of the pews. To get behind the table, it is necessary to crawl underneath the board. Alternatively, you can sit in the next pew along and serve from the front of your stall. All your storage boxes etc.can be placed in the area behind your stall.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Most of it is common sense and common courtesy.
